Shear Volume Salon Policies
Hello and welcome to Shear Volume Salon! A few policies have changed and will be effective immediately. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
Booking Policy: If you cancel at or within 24 hours of your appointment or do not show up, you will be charged a fee of 50% of the service you were supposed to receive. None of the fees are refundable or transferable. We understand emergencies happen, but to keep the lights on and doors open, we have to be compensated for missing hours of work. Otherwise, we make no profit.
Payment Policy: Our returned check fee is $50. If the check was returned to us, whether the second run through is successful or not, you have to pay the $50 fee. NO EXCEPTIONS! However, you get a 30 day grace period to pay this fee. You must pay this fee even if we have to get authority and/or the law involved. If 1 check is bounced from any individual, we will no longer accept checks from that individual. We accept cash, cards, Shear Volume gift certificates, and checks. Extra charges may apply to any customer who has very thick or long hair. These charges will be at the discretion of each stylist. (Please remember, if this applies to you, your service may take longer than the scheduled time.)
Time Policy: If you’re more than 10 minutes late for your appointment without notice, you must reschedule, and your appointment will be considered a no show!
Child Policy: As a courtesy to other salon customers, (and in our efforts to offer a relaxed and professional environment) we ask that you are aware that it’s your responsibility to watch your children at all times at the salon. Please do not bring a child under the age of 15 to an appointment that is over 30 minutes, unless they are able to behave and remain patient. You will be responsible for any damages to our merchandise! Children under the age of 13 must have a parent/guardian present and sign a waiver before any chemical services are performed. Given the chance there may be a complaint about this service, we will only speak to the adult who accompanied the child through the appointment.
